This issue of the IU News marks the end of our first calendar year of publication. We continue to encourage readers to submit news stories--just as we did in our first issue on April 4--and we remain committed to making the News the best format possible for sharing the work of our participants and partners with the whole IU Community and other interested Internet readers.
For this issue we have looked into project archives and calendars to find some previously "unsung" items--topical lesson plans for targeted grades, teacher interviews and photo galleries--all posted at home sites by participating Internet Learning Community Projects.
We will continue to evolve our ideas and format for representing IU work and events, and will return to this site next year with more IU News. Until then, we wish the Best of Holidays and a Happy New Year to all!
