RIAA Wants to Hack Your PC” (Wired) "An aide on Capitol Hill who had been contacted by the RIAA was even more blunt, dubbing the amendment the 'RIAA's License to Virus' proposal."  Slashdot is, of course, having a field day with this report.

Technolust alert:  CNET first look at HP DVD-writer dvd100i  Apparently, it has started shipping but there is little if no stock.
