Another busy day of meetings today.  I spent some time last night looking for an article about Bakhtin by Alan Jacobs (“Mikhail Bakhtin: The Man Who Heard Voices" from Books and Culture)  I have the complete paper archive of the journal but wanted to find an electronic version.  I was frustrated that the archive did not have the article and even used to the WayBackMachine to look for it.  I finally came to the conclusion that the archives did not begin before 1998.  (The article is from 1996.)  Sigh...back to photocopying.
