2002/03/25: Safe and sound in Toronto

For those of you who came here to read about educational technology, please come back next week.  I'm currently on vacation in Toronto and am trying to avoid thinking about things like IMS, METS, learning management systems -- not because I don't like thinking and writing about them -- but because as a mere human being, I must take a break from the work I do.

I am happily ensconced at my parents' condo in downtown Toronto.  It's been a wonderful two and 1/2 days so far.  I had a long flight, after a largely uneventful time at the airport.  (Yes, the security line was long and took me 1/2 hour to clear -- but the line did move reasonably quickly.  I made a note to myself not to be too whiney about having to wait....)

There's a lot to note but I'm trying to adjust to Eastern time.  So off to bed I go now.

I may or may not blog more before I get back to Berkeley.  But hopefully, I'll check in.  (I suppose that I could have been writing on my weblog instead of spending four hours last night watching the Oscars....)
