| Wired Magazine on the Berkeley Journalism Blogging Class # |
|
"Next fall, a handful of students at the University of California at Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism will convene weekly to learn about blogging from John Batelle, a co-founder of Wired magazine, and Paul Grabowicz, the school's new media program director."
Chris and I were wondering whether the class had happened already or was coming up. Wired answers the question.

| BC&C: e-Berkeley Innovation Projects selected for funding # |
|
The IU is honored to receive some funding as an e-Berkeley Innovation Project:
Creating and sharing content for teaching and learning will explore how to develop online educational content that is more accessible, modular, flexible, and reusable than the current HTML-based materials. To achieve these goals, the project team will experiment with new content creation tools including XML-based technologies, METS digital library objects, the IMS web learning standards, and learning management systems such as WebCT. IST and the Library are carrying out the project.
