Converting Word to Docbook #

Someone asked on the xml-doc Yahoo group how to convert MS Word 97 documents to XML. I recently found articles about converting MS Word 2000 documents to simplified Docbook.

(It's a good sign for all of us who are looking forward to swimming in an ocean of interesting XML documents on the Web that there's been work on doing this type of conversion.)
