Crazy and wild fish #

Some weeks ago, I heard an interview with a wildlife official who had been trying to capture northern snakehead fish (native to China) that were running loose.  It seems that the battle has shifted now to the use of poisons.

BTW, there's a quite striking Wanted:  Dead or Alive type webpage for the fish....

The fish is quite a survival machine:

Snakeheads also are a threat because they can survive out of water and can crawl slowly across damp surfaces, meaning they can reach other bodies of water. Officials were particularly worried that the fish could make their way to the Little Patuxent River nearby and gorge on the endangered fish species there.
