Running around frantically #

I've been programming and doing basic computer work intensely over the last week.  Such work usually puts me in a strange state.  I become antisocial and rather obsessed with the task at hand.  I never feel I have enough time.  I always think that things should move along faster than they do.  I don't want to return my email (because it keeps me from programming).  Maybe it's been because I've been out of practice and I'm so desperate to see results that I'll pour hours into my computer, just hoping for something useful to emerge.

(It's especially frustrating when recent tutorials on various matters are actually out of date -- I'll write more specifically about what I've been learning about Python and XML and Java. for those of you out there who care about such things.)

Yesterday, I wrote about spam -- thanks to my former housemate Christian and Cyprien Lomas (whom I met at Educause a few weeks ago) and Karin for reading my blog (in the first place) and for responding....BTW, Mailwasher seems to be working -- or at least, it makes me feel better that I'm sending some email back instead of just deleting email in quiet frustration.
