It's great that Wired is covering the Museum and the Online Archive of California:
An ambitious project will allow some of California's most valuable, and previously inaccessible, works to be viewed online by anyone, anywhere, at any time.
The Museums and the Online Archive of California Project recently launched a website with integrated access to museum, library and archival collections across California

I am really enjoying Python and long thought that Zope would be an excellent platform to implement a learning management system. Jython, the hybrid Python/Java language, opens up the possibility of fusing Python-based solutions (such as EduZope) with work done in the Java world. Fred Beshears has posed the question of whether there would be Zope version based on Jython. It seems that answer would be to wait for Zope 3, which will be easier to write in Jython.
