Happy New Year! #

It's been a good first day to what I hope will prove to be a great year. Since I got back into town two nights ago, it's been non-stop celebrating with friends old and new -- a baby shower, dinners, brunches, walks, games galore and lots of laughter (and a few tears thrown in to the mix). I'm tired and look forward to a day or two of plain ol' downtime.
