| UC Berkeley Summer Reading List # |
|
Lynn wrote about generating links for the books on the Summer Reading List [story]. Now that I know how to generate a URL to access the melvyl record of a book (by ISBN), I can now do exactly this. The books for the Summer Reading List are:
Now there are some caveats. I looked these books in amazon.com to find the ISBN. Some of these books have more than one version -- so I could have selected other ISBNs. But by clicking on one of the above link, one can now find out the status of the book at the Berkeley Public Library or at the UC libraries -- including the circulation status of the book at UC Berkeley (if it is held in our collection.)
Also, the presentation of the information can certainly be cleaned up.
Enjoy the books!
