More Mulling on the NSDL #

We've been mulling over the question of whether to write a proposal in response to NSDL Program Solicitation. Today, I wanted to get my next level understanding of the National Science Digital Library so that I can communicate with the program officer some of our ideas on what to propose.

I'm doing a lot of figuring out of what the current state of the National Science Digital Library is. One thing I'd like to know is how hard it is to do a proof-of-concept of integration of ScholarsBox with the NSDL. Doing such a demo would help us figure out whether to apply for NSDL money (for the short term) and also how difficult it is to do this type of integration. I see the first hints of a Web Services infrastructure at the NSDL.
