I hope to turn on commenting again some day #
I'm very thankful for some very thoughtful email in response to two recent postings on my weblog (Naming Persons Unambiguously and Personal Collections: Clifford's Talk). My commenters expressed the desire to comment directly on blog. Alas, I've been struggling with spammers who have attacked my comment/trackback system, and my wiki. I've decided to shut down my commenting system and trackbacks for now until I come up with a better strategy for handling spam. My wiki remains open for editing though -- perhaps ironically. I have found a way to deal with wiki spam for now that I can live with. Please bear with me as I get my commenting system back in working order.
