argh -- my new Pentax Optio s5i might be dead! #

argh -- my new Pentax Optio s5i might be dead!

The problem started today. When I try to power up the camera, the light turns on, the motor for the lens makes a bit of noise but the lens does not come out and the camera powers down. I recharged the battery to make sure that the camera was not low on power.

The camera is only 2-1/2 months old!
