I just picked up a copy of Jython Essentials after learning about the exciting possibilities of fusing a great scripting language (Python) with a great set of libraries (the Java Foundation Classes, etc.)

Interested in Jython?  Read two articles about Jython:   "Tips for Scripting Java with Jython" and  "Jython Tips for Python Programmers"
