The rigors of writing during busyness #

I have been looking forward to having some downtime this weekend so that I can sit back and reflect and write at a more leisurely pace.  Getting back to blogging was one act I was anticipating with some relish.  Although I've not been blogging much this last week, I have been writing grant proposals.  I always forget how demanding it is to write concisely, precisely, and compellingly at the same time.  The hard work of writing made me long, ironically, to do more writing -- but more on my own terms.

So, what next?  Maybe some more updates here today, tomorrow, or the next day.  I'm not sure.
