I really enjoyed hearing Jonathan Darby from the UK eUniversities this morning talking about UKeU. I was fascinated by what they have learned about how students actually interact with courseware online. Some students go through the recommended sequence. Some listen to all the audio first. Some print out all the text and then go through the online stuff. Yet others are assignment-drivent. This experience is an argument for constructing flexible, granular learning chunks for students to use at their discretion.
