Stanford has set up a campus blog project, just as Harvard has through Dave Winer. [via David Carter-Tod]

I submitted a proposal to both the Digital Library Federation Spring 2003 meeting and the CNI Spring 2003 Task Force meeting.

NYTimes news analysis today:  "In a deliberate and risky strategy, Mr. Bush appears to be dropping out of the public debate over whether there is value in further inspections or any alternative to ousting Mr. Hussein, or sending him into exile."

Also in the New York Times (from a few days ago):  "Online Library Wants It All, Every Book": 

The directors of the new Alexandria Library, which christened a steel and glass structure with 250,000 books in October, have joined forces with an American artist and software engineers in an ambitious effort to make virtually all of the world's books available at a mouse click. Much as the ancient library nurtured Archimedes and Euclid, the new Web venture also hopes to connect scholars and students around the world.
