Nicholas Ray films at the PFA #

While I'm waiting for the advent of my personal blog, I'll continue to write about film in this space....

I'm excited about the showing of Nicholas Ray films at the PFA.  Not because I know anything about Ray -- I don't, but because some of my friends are interested in seeing some films, and because I get the chance to dive into the work of another filmmaker.  Watching 15 Kurosawa films a few months ago was a magical experience for me....will Ray's films be my next obsession?

I was looking for a good website on Ray -- but couldn't find one easily.  I turned to the Britannica article on Ray for an overview, one that some of you (UC folks and other Britannica subscribers) may be able to read.

[Later:  thanks, Lynn, for pointing out some good library resources related to this topic.  It pays to know a know a good librarian!]
