Notelets for 2004.01.07 #
I started listening to Steve Jobs' MacWorld Keynote, to learn about the new iLife -- and to see whether I can learn to be a cool speaker like him.

What is [WWW]KnowledgeBox -- which Jobs mentioned in his keynote.

From [WWW]Tech firms betting on digital living room: Consumer Electronics Show to open in Las Vegas:

But this year's show is expected to bring a greater focus on digital entertainment and media management than in past years.

No doubt, there will be the standard array of new LCD and plasma big- screen TVs, DVD video recorders, MP3 players and home theater equipment, as in previous years. But there will also be new home networking products designed to not only link your computers, but also connect your home entertainment components to one another, such as your TV, DVD player and stereo system, even if they're in different rooms.

The products are designed to free consumers from the tethers of the electrical cord and allow people to enjoy digital content -- be it stored on a computer, a disc or streamed over the Internet -- anywhere in the home.
